 Kubota History

Kubota Corporation was established in 1890 in Osaka, Japan and sold its first engine in 1922.
Kubota introduced its first compact diesel engines to the United States in 1976.
At that time, the gasoline engine was a mainstream trend in the U.S. as a power source for industrial applications.
Kubota’s compact diesel engine reversed that trend and broke through the market.
In 1982, the Engine Division was organized in Chicago as a part of Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC) dedicated to reinforcing technical support and sales in the expanding industrial engine market.
Thereafter Kubota, with an established network of distributors and service dealers, was able to sell and service engines throughout the U.S.
In response to the rise of further engine demand, Kubota Engine America Corporation (KEA) was formed in 1998 as an independent U.S. subsidiary specializing in the industrial engine business.
Kubota Engine America is based in the NW Chicago suburb of Lincolnshire, IL. , and takes care of sales, engineering support, service, parts support and distribution for its industrial engines and packaged diesel generators.
Kubota Engine America also plays an important role as a coordinator for emission regulations of the regulatory authority of the U.S. federal government.
In order to enhance the technical customer support Kubota Engine America installed a state-of-the-art facility complying with stringent regulations.
Kubota Engine America also provides the latest technical information to our distributors through training.
In response to the expanding export business of our OEM customers, Kubota Engine America continues to set up service dealers in the Caribbean, Central and South American countries.
Advanced Engine is proud to be one of those dealers.
